Camp Craig Allen 7th Annual Amateur BBQ Cook Off – Sept 2013

The two-day benefit begins with a kick off party Friday night, Sept. 27. There will be cash bars, a casino tent, auctions, live bands, dancing, and lots of fun games throughout the event at each of the individual team sites. The party also includes a judging of the bloody mary’s and margaritas for the night. The public is welcome, but we try to make this party a bit more adult themed. Gates open at 5pm. $25 per person. Dinner is a BBQ buffet from 6-8pm.
Saturday is the big cook-off! Our 45 Amateur BBQ teams compete in a total of 17 categories. All day Saturday is family day with a $10 per person at the door. Feel free to visit all team sites and sample on all kinds of BBQ and desserts! Additional fun is our jalapeño eating contest, margarita tent, cash bar with concession stand, kids area, clowns, face painting, live bands, more auctions and our wheelchair sports area with hockey & basketball! Fun for everyone of all ages, all day! Gates are open to the public 10am-6pm. The Award Ceremony is at 7pm at the main stage.
